The competition is divided into the following parts: a) Qualification matches: qualifications to form specific numbers (64,32,16), round of 16, quarter final, semi-final and final for 1/2 place. b) Repechage rounds: rounds which give a second chance to the athletes who lost from the finalists in their group to participate in a match for the bronze medal. c) Final matches: for 1st or 2nd place and 3rd or 5th place.
